Loved the location & the beautiful views. Some of the bed covers were stained & should be replaced. Also, the kitchen ( appliances & pots & pans) could stand to be replaced.

Comfortable beach front escape 2025-08-21

We wanted a property with beach front views and easy beach access and Blue Heaven did not disappoint. The home had everything you'd need without having to worry about the staples. Stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dishwasher tabs, and trash bags (though you might need to bring some extras). Plenty of bath towels are provided but don't forget to bring your beach towels! Kids loved having access to the pool which was right next door. We would definitely rent again.

You may note that some reviewers complained about having to make the beds but we honestly didn't feel inconvenienced by this. At least you get the opportunity to inspect the beds first before putting the sheets on!

Second time renting from this company. The townhouse has beautiful upgrades throughout including awesome showers with rain shower heads. Only comment - we had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves & at this level of payment the housekeeping should be able to put sheets & pillowcases on the beds instead of guest having to unmake the beds and then make the beds back up

We had an amazing stay for a long weekend over Easter. The condo is perfect for sunny days on the balcony overlooking the ocean and a great stocked kitchen. Plenty of room inside. The beach is steps away. We would love to return in the summer or fall.

Never in all the times I’ve rented a vacation home was I given a bag of bed sheets and told we had to make all the beds ourselves. I have no issue stripping them at the end and collecting the towels in one convenient spot.

But am I alone in thinking that the last thing someone wants to do after a long day of travel and all that that entails (grocery runs, dragging in the luggage, etc) to then have to make the bed to sleep in ?

However this was a pleasant townhome in a very good walkable location on the ocean. It was a bit worn around the edges though with scuffed walls, multiple stains on the rug, a dirty coffee pot, and mismatched light bulbs (some super bright white LEDs, some warm incandescents - just quirky to have them not be uniform.)

We have been vacationing and have family in Wrightsville for the past twenty years. This property is perfect in many ways. Location on the beach, basement stores all beach stuff and has a rinse off area and shower, very secure properties with auto locked gates, great pool, house was very clean, has everything needed like linens and towels, view from master bedroom was beautiful.

We have stayed in this unit numerous years and love the layout and location. Beautiful unit with very comfy furniture for gathering to watch movies on rainy day. Also like the large dining table for meals and playing games. The only suggestion we have is to please update the cooking utensils and add more tableware (especially spoons!).

You cannot beat this location! Steps away from the beach, restaurants and nightlife. Not that we participated in the nightlife as my wife and I stay in Townhouse 1 with our 2.5 year old and 2.5 month old. It was great to have the short walk to and from the beach along a block or three walk to dinner.

Within walking distance to everything needed. Several restaurants, a small grocery and shops are close. We are fairly selective when booking a vacation away and this home exceeded our expectations.
There were only two of us so I can’t review for a larger size party but should fit 6-7 comfortably. We were facing directly toward the beach and right beside the pool and tennis courts.
Ice machine in the kitchen was a great surprise. I read in one of the reviews about parking - the one parking space underneath is tight but if you back in, you’ll be fine. You can also park in other spaces available down the sidewalk. Don’t hesitate to reserve. We hope to return with our family.

Blue Heaven is in a perfect spot - oceanfront, center of town, convenient to everything. We have stayed in Blue Heaven multiple times, and love the amenities. It is stocked with all that you need. One of the things we always loved was the separate ice maker for filling up coolers and blenders. Unfortunately, the ice maker was not working, and despite 3 calls into Wrightsville Sands with promises to have someone repair it; it never was repaired.

This won’t stop us from using WSR and renting Blue Heaven, again, but I am hoping WSR will read this, and be a bit more vigilant with future issues.

We apologize that the ice maker failed during your stay and was not able to be repaired. Our maintenance techs went by the property during your stay and determined the ice maker was not repairable. We had to order a new one and unfortunately it was not able to be shipped and installed until after your stay. A new one is to be installed this week. Sometimes we are at the mercy of other suppliers on when items are in stock and can be installed. Again, our apologies. It is also important to note that the main refrigerator has a ice maker and there is also a commercial grade ice machine at the Station One complex that is available to all Station One guests for no additional charge. This was our 3rd time staying at Blue Heaven and this time did not meet our expectations. The property is very nice and you can not beat the location but the overall cleanliness and upkeep was not what we have experienced in the past.

There was mold in the master bath, ants in the kitchen and 3rd floor, a broken appliance among other things. I raised the cleanliness issue to the management company and they did offer to have it re-cleaned but we had already unpacked and it would have been more of a hassle. Upon check-out I handed over a list of the issues and got a nonchalant response. I understand it was the end of the season but this is a premium property and I felt the customer service wasn't there and felt dissatisfied when I left.

I've been to Wrightsville Beach numerous times and find that it gets better and better with each visit. Blue Heaven was out rental choice over Memorial Weekend 2016 and I can say the accommodations were excellent! View from family room and master bed were perfect!! Home was immaculate and we found the gas grill very beneficial. The kids loved the outdoor shower and mom and I loved the VERY short walk to the beach! I'm actually not sure that it's possible to find a better location on the island!

We had a great week at Blue Heaven. It was a little on the pricey side but totally what we wanted for our vacation. Location was great. Views were great. Loved the kitchen and updated bathrooms. My only suggestion was there was a cheap vinyl tablecloth on the kitchen table. I think it was because the surface of the table was not in the best condition....maybe a newer kitchen table. I know this will sound crazy, but we suspected allergies (sneezing) from the den rug. Understand it is utilitarian but it seems to hold dust and the straw is allergic to some.
Mattresses were great, everyone slept well. beautiful house, have already recommended it to folks living in Wilmington when they have friends who want to stay on the beach.

The newly renovated town home was absolutely beautiful! We truly felt like we were in heaven. I did have to call the emergency number because water from the MB shower was coming through one of the can lights in the kitchen. We didn't use the shower again. It was a little inconvenient with 8 people needing to shower. We made it work though!

Great time in this beautiful townhouse! All rooms were well furnished and tastefully decorated and were neat and clean. The description on line was accurately reported so I knew what to expect. The short walk to the ocean, the outside shower, the porch with table and chairs, the garage room, and washer-drier made our stay more enjoyable.
One would be helpful if there had been a thermostat for the upstairs. As a result of having only one for the entire townhouse the upstairs was freezing...the downstairs hot.
